Uses of chrome ore

1. Chromite sand is suitable as raw material for drainage sand, casting, ceramics, glass and refractory materials.

2. Applicable types of chromite sand: foundry grade, metallurgical grade.

3. Chromite sand is mainly used for the surface sand of large steel castings in the casting production to prevent sand sticking on the surface of the castings;

4. Use its ground powder as refractory aggregate for casting coatings. Chrome ore is a chilling material, which can replace part of cold iron when modeling (core making).

5. Chromite sand is suitable for casting coatings, refractory materials, automobile brake pads, high-performance ceramic materials, ceramic and glass colorants, friction materials, chemical and metallurgical casting and other fields.
